This is an exciting opportunity to work on modelling, monitoring and prediction of offshore renewable energy systems and hydrogen systems. You will undertake independent and collaborative research with other PDRAs and PhD students and will be expected to write up your research for publication. You will be expected to deal with any management/administration problems that may arise from the project and to produce journal and conference publications, ensuring that the project objectives and deadlines are met.

You are expected to have excellent IT skills, including the demonstrable ability to use IT to write technical research papers and make presentations. You are also required to be an excellent communicator with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.

If you are near submission or have recently submitted your PhD but have not yet had it conferred, any offers of employment will be made as Research Assistant at the top of level 5 of the University grade structure. Upon receipt of evidence of the successful award of your PhD, you will be promoted to Research Fellow on the first point of level 6 of the University grade structure.
