**JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITY**:
Come and join Alfred G Pearce Ltd, we are a third generation family run local business looking to recruit an experienced Production Training Coordinator.

As part of our skilled production team, you will ensure our staff are competent and capable of the work they are asked to do. You will verify and assess against SOP, and GMP, H&S and Food safety standards. You will be a strong, confident and motivational communicator who has worked in a similar role before.

You will need to be organised and flexible and have a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for maintaining the production training matrix.

You will ensure that compulsory certification is in date and you will organise internal and external courses as necessary.

You will be self motivated and be a creative thinker, using initiative to deliver valuable and meaningful training solutions to ensure a capable and skilled workforce is retained.

Working in conjunction with the Line Coordinators and Senior Production Manager you will be expected to identify and support career progression and personal development opportunities to ensure a multi-skilled and flexible workforce. Producing personal development plans and a strategy for succession.
- You will need to demonstrate sound GMP knowledge, H&S and Food safety standards -so will have worked in a food manufacturing environment before.
- You will work closely with the Line Coordinators/Supervisors so you will need to be able to build strong and credible relations to maximise the potential of these collaborations.
- You will have previous experience of assessing workers 'on the job' in their working environment.
- You will have a background in training and food manufacturing
- You will be a willing team player, leading my example and keen to support and encourage

We are looking for a skilled and confident individual who is looking to make their mark and use their skill to positively change and help educate our production team. Ideally this role would suit someone who has worked in a similar previous role or who has worked as a shift leader or Supervisor in a food manufacturing business and has successfully trained and developed others.

This is a stand-alone role, with plenty of flexibility for the successful individual to craft and create a dynamic, credible and invaluable service offering. Over time positively influencing the performance and capability of our production team.

Due to the location of our factory (Wormegay, PE33 0SG) you will need your own transport as there is currently no pubic transport that services the local area.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 48 per week
