About The RoleWaldon Telecom, a part of M Group Services Telecoms Division, is an essential infrastructure services provider to the mobile telecommunication sector in the UK. We work on behalf of large mobile network operators to acquire, design, and construct mobile telecommunication base stations across the country.

Due to our continued investment and forecast growth we are looking for two Graduate Estates Surveyors to be part of our Estates team in the UK.

**The role will involve hybrid working between the office & home. T**here will also be an element of travelling around Scotland from time to time, but the role is mostly desk bound.**

**What will you be doing?**

This is a two-year Graduate programme; this role fits within Waldon Telecom's Estates Department and you will work collaboratively with the Planning and Acquisition teams where required to fulfil the experience requirements of the RICS APC programme. We take pride in the fact that currently our APC pass rate is at 100%.

As a Graduate Estates Surveyor, you will be involved in site inspection and measurement, assisting with commercial valuation preparations, negotiation of terms for new leases and for lease renewals, negotiation of rent reviews and assisting the planning department in obtaining planning permissions for telecommunication sites for mobile phone operators.

**What will your key responsibilities be?**
- Sourcing & analysing relevant market evidence for valuation reports
- Consulting with Clients to determine their requirements
- Preparing inspection reports providing site specific information
- Negotiating terms including term of agreement, rent, review provisions etc
- Preparing standard form lease agreements
- Liaising with Client and Landlord solicitors
- Submitting invoicing pro-forma for work undertaken on specific projects
- Attending MSVs or SP meetings and provide advice as required
- Updating of Company and Client databases
- Managing and reporting to the Client
- Assessing leases for legal rights

**What skills & experience are we looking for?**
- RICS accredited BSc or Msc in Real Estate or a related field
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Team Player
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to change
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Full UK Driving Licence - desirable
