Our state-of-the-art facilities in Horwich are expanding and our new £4.2 million waste processing plant is now up and running. As a result, we are looking to grow our team of dedicated staff and we now have exciting new opportunities for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join our team.

**£11.00 - £13.00 per hour DOE**
**47.5 hours per week**
**(Mon-Fri 7am-5.30pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm)**

**The Role**
- Operating a range of mobile plant machinery safely, including loading shovel, 360 excavator, grab etc.
- Maximise recycling and recovery within the facility
- Ensuring that the plant and machines are maintained to the required standards
- Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance
- Complete defect reports, near miss and accident reports

**What you need**

**Essential**:

- Hold an Operator card or Certificate of Basic Training
- Previous experience operating some mobile plant machinery is essential (although full training on all our machines will be provided)
- Ability to quickly learn new tasks, follow instructions and problem solve
- Ability to cope with the demands of the role, which involves working outdoors for long periods and heavy lifting
- Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and good levels of attendance.
