Head of Finance and Operations, Web3, Metaverse

My client is an innovator at the leading edge of Web3, Metaverse and VR. They have a prestigious and rapidly growing customer base of global household name brands. To assist with their growth, I am working with them to recruit a new role, Head of Financeand Operations, to manage all hands-on operational and financial aspects of the company.

The job offers a starting salary of £90-130K p.a., bonus and pension, and hybrid working, at least one day a week at their London offices.

This position would suit a manager with proven experience in managing operations and finance within a growing young company.

Primary responsibilities as Head of Finance and Operations
- Day-to-day leadership and management guidance to the company mission and values
- Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals
- Establish internal and external processes and KPIs
- Report on operational and financial matters
- Develop and implement growth strategies and processes
- Ensure the company has proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures

Required skills and experience for the Head of Finance and Operations
- Previous experience managing business finance and operations with a growing company
- Developed broad-scoped business relationships and business plans
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Integrative team working style, easy contact, rapid to adapt, able to foster team spirit
- A team player and able to motivate and influence

Ideal skills and experience for Head of Finance and Operations
- An interest in and knowledge of Web3, Metaverse or VR and how it applies to business
- Experience across multiple sectors, including direct to consumer
