**About the Trust**

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest general hospital foundation trusts in the country.

We provide acute medical and surgical services to Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire and specialist services such as cancer, dialysis, and eye surgery to a wider population across Berkshire and its borders.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Manage recruitment systems review and cascade any updates to team members.
- Ensure all recruitment is in accordance with Trust procedures best practice and employment legislation and take responsibility for ensuring that all documentation is of a high and consistent quality.
- Coordinate AAC panel and to support the Trust Chair, CEO, Medical Director, Royal College reps to ensure AAC Panels are robustly managed. To produce reports on AAC panels monthly for the Medical Director. Liaise with Trust PA to pre plan dates and attend ensure AAC runs smoothly on the day. Liaise with Medical Education for SIM assessment dates.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Good practice and legislation on equality and diversity.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.
- Experience of working in a busy administration department.
- Previous healthcare recruitment experience in public or private sector.
- Knowledge of TRAC, NHS jobs and ESR.
- A good understanding of medical workforce and staffing. (Desirable)
