**About the role**

As our business continues to expand, we are currently seeking a full-time E-commerce Assistant to join our in-house team. This position will involve aspects of both collaborative work with multiple other team members within our e-commerce department as well as initiative led independent work.

As an E-commerce Assistant at rucomfy you’ll be setting foot into an exciting, fast paced and vibrant atmosphere and will help shape the direction of rucomfy online. As part of a relatively small team in a rapidly growing business, we’re able to offer exciting opportunities to work with a large number of high-profile marketplaces and retailers.

rucomfy is a family run business based in the heart of Lancashire’s and for over 40 years we have been lovingly designing and manufacturing beanbags for thousands of homes and businesses all over the UK. Every product we sell is designed, manufactured and shipped from our location in Lancashire.

**About you**

You’ll be a dynamic and confident individual with strong knowledge and a proven track record of selling online, particularly on own brand websites and Amazon. You will have experience in managing and developing selling platforms, both collaboratively and independently.

**Job Specification**
- Managing and maintaining both websites and marketplace platforms and creating strategies to drive consistent improvement in traffic and sales.
- Identifying improvement opportunities on websites and marketplaces, including page and product updates to increase conversion value and overall sales.
- Ensuring that new products are accurately listed on all ecommerce and internal platforms with correct imagery, content and pricing, and that these listings are regularly maintained.
- Writing engaging and keyword rich product, category and SEO content. Delivering visible improvements to SEO positioning on key company words and phrases.
- Working with the ecommerce and design teams with regular website updates to provide consistent and engaging content across the website and other ecommerce platforms to engage customers and drive maximum visitor attention, ultimately achieving sales and conversion.
- Creating key statistical reporting and being able to summarise these results for senior management and offering optimisation solutions.
- Managing and improving advertising portfolios across multiple platforms. Monitoring ROI and presenting data each week/month to the management team along with any revised strategy as a result of the data.
- Communicating effectively with retail buyers to maintain healthy relationships
- Developing and implementing online sales strategies for aged stock.
- Ensuring ever changing best practices are known and followed on all managed channels.
- Conducting regular competitor research and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Any other duties as required by the company from time to time

**Qualifications and Skills**
- At least two years’ experience in managing and maintaining a website, with the assistance of a team - **essential**:

- At least two years’ experience in a B2C manufacturer ecommerce sales role with Amazon including SFP - **essential**:

- An in-depth knowledge of online Marketplaces and their systems with the ability how to rank well and appear top of SERPs (Amazon, Brand Registry, advertising, eBay, Etsy, Wayfair etc) - **essential**:

- Be organised and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines set - **essential**:

- A meticulous attention to detail, ensure work is thoroughly checked and mistakes are ironed out - **essential**:

- Experience with a Magento 2 store**:

- Experience in implementing and working with business automation solutions such as Linnworks or similar software - **desired**:

- An ability to take instruction.
- Self-organised, resourceful and a natural problem solver.
- An ability to work well as part of a team.
- An ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
