The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital has undergone an overhaul of its facilities and we are now looking to expand our activities. We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated university graduate to join our team in this administrative and analytical role to support the establishment of a new service for NHS patie. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital was established in Aylesbury in 1832 and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region.

The ownership of the hospital was transferred to our new management team in January 2023. By joining our existing portfolio, the hospital is now run professionally and provides clinical care to both private, insured and NHS patients, with a strong ethos on caring for our staff.

**What we need from you**:
This role is pivotal to the efficient management of our NHS activities. It involves:

- The publishing and monitoring of our services on the e-RS website
- Ensuring referrals via e-RS are dealt with and triaged quickly & efficiently and within the constraints of the 18-Week Referral-To-Treatment pathway
- Registering and booking appointments using e-RS and the hospitals Patient Management IT System
- Reviewing work lists on Choose and Book to ensure they are appropriately addressed, and referrals are managed in a timely manner
- Generating and submitting data quality reports weekly and monthly reports
- Effectively utilising resources to maximise the use of available clinics slots, ensuring clinics are filled to the agreed capacity. This will involve contacting patients to fill available slots
- Type and distribute clinical letters as necessary and work across departments within the hospital (Notes, Radiology, Appointments, Ward, Theatre etc.) to provide reports in a timely manner
- A university degree awarded from a reputable university such a Russell Group University.
- The ability to travel to our Banbury site for training and induction with an established team. The role will be primarily based in Aylesbury thereafter.
- Competent in the use of information technology (particularly MS Office package)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and independently as required
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Planning, prioritisation and organisational skills independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
- The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital does not offer hybrid working and all post are on site only
