We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and ambitious Radiographer who has ideally 4 years post qualification experience. Join us and become part of our engaging and forward thinking Radiology Team.

Stoke Mandeville is a world renowned Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre and Radiology is pivotal in providing imaging services for spinal injury patients.

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to lead our Plain Film service including General Radiography and Theatre coordination, reporting back to the plain film Lead.

There will be opportunities for you to develop your career. We offer a great working environment, investing in training and new equipment, and a highly skilled, patient focused and friendly team. This is a rotational post and rotation may include MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, General and A&E.

Applications are encouraged from existing Band 6 Radiographers who are keen to increase their knowledge and take on a more advanced role, and Band 7 Radiographers looking for a new challenge. There may be opportunities in the future for advanced practice.

This post will be based at Stoke Mandeville but the successful applicant may work cross-site as required.

Radiology provides MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography (at Wycombe site) as well as General and A&E. There is a 8 bed day-case unit within the Stoke Mandeville department unit set up to support the busy vascular interventional service. A plain film service is provided at all 5 community sites.

There are dedicated staff and training facilities in the Department and an active audit/teaching programme. The department also provides clinical placements for under graduate students and an Apprenticeship Programme.
