Oxford Health is looking for outstanding candidates for this attractive opportunity to work in the Aylesbury Community Mental Health Team which is based at the Whiteleaf Centre, in Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for a 1.0 WTE consultant psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership to the Aylesbury CMHT. This post has become available in the CMHT due to a consultant moving to another area. The postholder will work alongside other consultants (total 4.0 WTE senior medical establishment including this post) within the CMHT. We would welcome applications from candidates who wish to work LTFT or flexibly, including those who would like to discuss a personalised/ split job plan.
The Trust is committed to high quality teaching and training for medical students, post graduate trainees in psychiatry, specialty doctors, students and other professionals. The consultant will provide direct clinical supervision and line management with opportunities to develop your skills in these areas.

Main duties of the job
The CMHTs undertake non-emergency assessment and medium-long term treatment. They work alongside independent Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams. Referrals will soon be triaged by the Mental Health Gateway (a Single Point of Access) which operates independently from the CMHT providing comprehensive triage (including supporting information) prior to assessment.
