Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) Tissue Viability Team have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated administrator to join our Tissue Viability Service. We are looking to recruit an individual on a part time, permanent basis.

The applicant will be expected to work with teams across South Cheshire and Vale Royal (CCICP), involving the five care communities, acute settings, nursing homes, GP practices and specialist schools.

The role requires you to be flexible. You should have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise your workload daily. The applicant will be required to support general admin duties, deal with telephone calls, medical photography, enter data electronically, liaise with clinical staff, equipment suppliers and sometimes patients. The role also includes preparation of training course schedules, preparing training materials and room bookings to ensure the sessions run smoothly. Excellent communication skills with various disciplines would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will support the Tissue Viability Team in implementing new ways of working. We are looking for a person with good organisational skills, effective communication and working knowledge of IT systems. To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Tissue Viability Team and associated Specialist services including managing calls, referrals, and supporting the clinical staff to respond to the health needs of the population of the patients in our care.

To support the clinical staff to liaise with a range of internal and external services and teams regarding appointments and multi-disciplinary meetings.

Exercise own judgement based on acquired knowledge and experience, as to when to deal with queries personally, and when to involve other team members and with what degree of urgency.

Build and maintain constructive relationships with others, within the department and externally in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of services to patients and support signposting where appropriate of queries and referrals.

Be conversant with all required electronic systems for correspondence, including specialist computer systems, and be able to obtain information from the Intranet/Internet, if requested to do so.

Provide information to clinical staff where appropriate, according to agreed guidelines, where appropriate.

Support the clinical team with audits, reports and other activity measurement as necessary, including managing databases, obtaining information, and in the presentation of the results.

To carry out other responsibilities / duties at the request of the Line Manager, according to the job holder’s competency to do so.

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) provides good quality, safe and effective healthcare to the people of Cheshire and beyond.
