**Job description**
- Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint to the post of Social Prescribing Coordinator.- Social Prescribing is an approach that connects people to activities, groups, and services in their community to meet the practical, social and emotional needs that affect their health and wellbeing.- This is a non-clinical role to contribute to the achievement of the Students’ Union and University objectives and targets, in line with the Students’ Union Strategic Plan (2020-25), with a focus on student mental health and wellbeing. The post holder will form part of the Students’ Union Student Mental Health and Wellbeing team and will design, implement and co-ordinate a pilot social prescribing model, suitable for the student environment, with the aim of enhancing student resilience and wellbeing. They will also support the day-to-day delivery of the student mental health and wellbeing team.
- A degree, HND or NVQ level 4 qualification or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience including:

- Engaging and supporting individuals through wellbeing enhancing programmes or activities.
- Developing, promoting, and delivering projects.
- Managing a challenging workload which is time sensitive and involves multiple stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key partners
- Monitoring project(s) and analysing data to evaluate their impact
