Social Media Content Creator (Job Start Scheme)
Advantage is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity tailor-made for a dynamic individual aged 18-24 through the JobStart Scheme. Join us as a Social Media Content Creator and help amplify our mission to raise awareness about the Ravine Project.
Ravine offers 20 tailored work experience placements per year to young people aged 18-24 facing mental health challenges. We provide a supportive learning environment focused on horticultural and conservation efforts. Our goal is to unleash the potential of young individuals by offering meaningful education, training, and employment opportunities, empowering them to build skills, experiences, and self-confidence.
As a Social Media Content Creator you will help amplify our mission to raise awareness about the Ravine Project. You'll be responsible for crafting engaging content across various social media platforms, including photos, videos, and written posts, to share our progress, engage with our community, and inspire action.
Develop creative and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, photos, and written posts, for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Ensure that all content aligns with Ravine's branding guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging to maintain consistency across platforms.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote Ravine's initiatives, events, and activities, coordinating with internal teams to ensure campaign objectives are met.
Utilise various strategies, including user-generated content, influencer partnerships, and targeted advertising, to maximise campaign reach and engagement. Content Creation:
Develop creative and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, photos, and written posts, for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Ensure that all content aligns with Ravine's branding guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging to maintain consistency across platforms.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote Ravine's initiatives, events, and activities, coordinating with internal teams to ensure campaign objectives are met.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and program departments, to gather content ideas, stories, and updates for social media posts.
Work closely with in house designers, photographers, and videographers to create high-quality visual content that resonates with our audience.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner, fostering meaningful interactions and building community engagement.
Creativity: The ability to generate fresh and engaging ideas for content creation across various social media platforms is essential for capturing the audience's attention and fostering engagement.
Basic proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is valuable for creating visually appealing graphics and multimedia content that align with Ravine's branding and aesthetics.
Content Planning: The capacity to plan and organise content calendars and social media campaigns is crucial for maintaining a consistent posting schedule and aligning content with Ravine's initiatives and events.
Being adaptable and flexible in responding to changes in social media trends, platform algorithms, and organisational priorities is important for staying relevant and effective in the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights) is beneficial for monitoring performance metrics, tracking engagement, and identifying opportunities for improvement in content strategy.
Team Collaboration: The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and program departments, is essential for gathering content ideas, coordinating campaign efforts, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Demonstrating strong customer service skills, including responsiveness, professionalism, and empathy, is important for engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and building positive relationships with Ravine's online community.
Being detail-oriented and meticulous in content creation, including proofreading captions, checking image quality, and ensuring brand consistency, helps maintain the overall quality and professionalism of Ravine's social media presence.
