Job Vacancy: Engagement Workers (Manchester)

We are looking to recruit an engagement worker to join our friendly community team in Manchester. They will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16-18 year-olds who are not in education, employment or training, helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling employment and training. The role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side though you will mainly be working in venues in the community in North Manchester.

Career Connect is a charity making a huge difference to the lives of young people, adults and families by providing support services that help them turn career ambitions into reality. We believe in a society where every individual realises their full potential and we aim to drive social mobility by enabling more people to access and succeed in education, training and employment.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are able to build meaningful relationships with young people, helping them understand their career skills and strengths, overcome personal barriers and create a better future for themselves. Salary for each role is £18,290 - £19,000 for a 35-hour week and we have great opportunities for staff training and progression.
