**About The Home**:
A 76 bedded Nursing Home based in Hereford-HR2 caring for Dementia, Older Person Care, Respite Care, Younger Adults.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **Clinical Leadership**:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status, ensuring the implementation of appropriate care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- **Staff Management**:
- Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Schedule and coordinate staff assignments to ensure optimal coverage.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- **Care Planning**:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update resident care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate with residents and their families to address concerns and provide updates.
- **Resource Management**:
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Optimize efficiency in daily operations while maintaining high standards of care.
- Budget oversight for the nursing unit.
- **Communication**:
- Foster open communication among staff members and promote a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other department heads to enhance interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
- **Training and Development**:
- Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for nursing staff.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in healthcare.
- **Emergency Response**:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for the nursing unit.
- Ensure staff members are trained and prepared for emergency situations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory bodies.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
**Salary**: £20.00 per hour
