Support Services Operative

Do you have a background in Facilities Management? Do you have experience in caretaking and posses extensive knowledge in good H&S practices. Are you looking for your next challenge? Then this could be the role for you.
**Main job responsibilities**:
- Provide a range of routine caretaking and proactive monitoring activities and when required undertake basic fault finding, maintenance, installation, testing and repair duties.
- Co-ordinate the activities of subcontractors across all whg commercial properties.
- Carry out mail room duties
- Provide a speedy and reliable response to repairs, affording priority attention to emergencies and to undertake Health and Safety checks.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on the building and where possible to carry out any minor or emergency repairs to the building.
**We're looking for someone who has**:
- A City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in a Construction or Building Technical Based Trade (i.e., Building Services, Electrical) or relevant experience.
- A full UK Drivers Licence.
- An understanding of good H&S practice.
- Basic experience of painting and decorating, electrics, plumbing and carpentry.
Experience of problem solving for all aspects of maintenance, caretaking and cleaning.
