Bookkeeper and Administrator

**Do you have experience in a book keeping, accounts or administration role?**
**Are you a positive and versatile person who has knowledge of bookkeeping and has worked with the Quickbooks or similar software?**
**Are you organised and on top of your records and numbers?**
**Are you comfortable and confident on the phone in dealing with customers and staff?**
**Duties**:
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with payroll processing
- Managing credit control and encouraging timely payment.
- To provide day to day workload management ensuring all work is recorded, planned and delivered in the most efficient manner with the aid of performance management tools and practices.
- To develop and provide comprehensive administration support to the Managing Director.
- Ensure good and accurate communication is maintained with all the customers and that all queries are recorded and addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office and to maintain an excellent level of service to teams and their customers.
- Manage staff annual leave in consultation with the management and monitor attendance performance.
- Ensure the accurate and up-to-date recording of information and overall document and data management and control.
- Develop and maintain office/project systems e.g. document control, archiving, IT data systems, time sheets, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
