At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry out their role.

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 1000 and 1600, with operating hours between 0800 and 1830. This allows employees to have a start time between 0800 and 1000 and finish time between 1600 and 1830

The Revenue Assurance team aims provide to have high quality, automated controls over all Three UK's revenues and costs of sale. Through conversing with the wider business, you will gain an understanding of how other teams and functions operate, respecting their issues and priorities, to understand current state, agree desired future state, define activities needed and ensure that commitments are met.

This role provides the oppurtionity to explore many different areas of the business which you would not necessarily get to see in other roles.

Through identification of revenue leakage and excess costs, work to maximise Three UK's margins without impacting on customer satisfaction.

What does the role involve?

**Assurance Tools**: We are constantly looking to improve our assurance tools by building controls that identify issues before they become significant. To do this we work with, and hold to account, our delivery teams and partners to make sure they deliver our requirements.

**Non-standard margins**: Investigating into existing controls in more 'non-standard' areas such as Content revenues or Handset costs. Validate existing controls, feedback into RA coverage model, and work with the process owners to improve assurance levels

**Lines of Defence**: work as a 2nd LoD to the business providing the framework and acting as consultants to the business to ensure effective controls are in place and run.

**Controls Assessments**: We assess and target revenue/cost streams throughout the business on the levels of control they have in place to prevent leakage. We test their controls and make recommendations into what can be achieved.

**Leakage Leads**: We are alerted to potential leakage through our own work or others that requires us to quickly investigate and assess the situation. This can involve reviewing process, data mining scenarios, and sometimes just asking the right questions.

**Business Change Process**: Acting as a Assurance Subject Matter Expert on / initiatives identifying any leakage concerns and informing the business of the risk levels.

**Reconciliation**: ensuring that the 2nd LoD (line of defence) assurance controls are carried out by our offshore team.

**Incident Management**: Working with service management to support the business with guidance and information on leakage issues.

**Stakeholder engagement**: One of the key elements of the Assurance team is to build good working relationships with its stakeholders. We are here to help the other teams improve their controls and make their teams more efficient.

**Reporting**: Measuring and tracking KPIs and outcomes against standards, while planning and taking corrective action where required.

**Presentation skills**: presenting back to the business a review of risks around revenue and their corresponding recommendations in a way the business can understand

**Influencing**: be a partner to a wide variety of team to help them improve their controls for their benefit and the business.

**Audit**: Liaising with internal and external auditors regarding the business’ controls for leakage protection.

**Technical translation**: Translating technical requirements into business language so that the business can understand where leakage risks may arise.

**Technologies**: constantly looking at what analysis tools can be utilised to improve our detection rates and value to the business.

**Process**: Looking and implementing automation where possible and constantly reviewing our own processes to assess the effectiveness.

**Team Evolution**: working towards our longer strategy of business assurance by building bridges, forming synergies, and demonstrating the value we can add.

**Development**: constantly looking to develop our own skillsets to help drive the team forward.

**Risk**: Assess the risk level of leakages in the context of the wider business. Creating these risks and recommended mitigations in the way the business can understand
