As part of the Portfolio Office Management team, the Portfolio Change Controller accountable to the Portfolio Contract and Performance manager will be responsible for leading on the management, reporting and analysis of changes to the contract baseline. The role is required to maintain and develop the supporting portfolio resources, processes, policies, and leadership to integrate the portfolio to support the various DBU’s and functions requirements, to meet the customer and business needs.

**What you will be doing**:

- Lead on the management of change to the contract baseline.
- Work with investments and benefits lead to manage 'jetty' and 'warehouse' scope.
- Interface with NRPDA on scope deletion and change.
- Lead on change reporting and analysis.
- Produce change status reports including analysis as required.
- Work with baseline controller to manage the cascade of budgets to programmes.
- Takes responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
- Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager.
- Effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
- Facilitate & govern PM documents & Artefacts.
- Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
- Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
- Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
- Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
- Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
- Facilitate and manage risk and opportunities.

- Be accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work including establishing, developing, and maintaining the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work and acting as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
- Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders/customer through your knowledge and experience of Project Management and project controls, including planning (ideally within Primavera P6), earned value management, resource loading, and change control.
- Ensure the implementation of company management processes is effective and efficient in addition to developing / implementing Project Management best practice in line with company management processes.
- Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods.
- A degree level or equivalent in business, project management, or years equivalent business experience including APMQ qualifications is desirable in addition to experience with data analytics and management information reporting.
