**This is a 6-weeks temporary positions with the main purpose of the job**:
Provide administrative support to the commercial property surveyor and assist in the smooth running of the property management department.

**Key objectives**:

- To review 80 Commercial Leases and complete the associated Lease summary form.
- Input salient Lease information into the Commercial Portfolio Tenancy Schedule.
- Undertake an Audit of the Commercial Portfolio EPC ratings and identify which units’ certification is below an E Rating.
- Engage an EPC Assessor and arrange for the appropriate remedial works to be undertaken in order to achieve an E Rating.
- Arrange for final EPC Assessments to be undertaken and file copies of the EPC certificates on the Eastend Homes system.
- Input EPC ratings and expiry dates into Commercial Portfolio Tenancy.
- Handling simple enquiries or directing calls and logs to relevant staff as appropriate.
- Alongside the Commercial Property surveyor, visit sites and attend meetings with internal and external groups on matters relating to the Commercial Portfolio.

Skills and knowledge

1. Excellent organisational skills.

2. Good written and verbal communication skills.

3. Tactful, diplomatic and professional telephone manner.

4. Ability to liaise with staff, management and achieve satisfactory outcome.

5. Good IT skills including Microsoft word and Excel.

Experience and qualifications

1. Experience working within the property sector (preferred not essential)

2. Experience reading commercial leases (preferred not essential)

Personal Qualities

1. Willingness to learn and take instruction.

2. Have the ability to work with others.

3. High attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
