**Fox Morris Group** are currently working to recruit a **Tree Officer. **This is a **full-time **role, on a **6 month+ contract.**

**Rate**:£50+ per hour (negotiable dependant on experience)

**Hours**:36 per week
- A minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Arboriculture or FdSc arboriculture or working towards these qualifications would be preferred,
- Demonstratable strong working knowledge of modern arboricultural practices with at least 2 years’ experience, preferably within the field of development planning.

**Role responsibilities**
- Assess proposals to undertake works to protected trees (TPOs or within Conservation Areas),
- Suggest conditions and consider tree protection and/or landscaping details submitted,
- Prepare and serve Tree Preservation Orders,
- Provide general advice and support to elected councillors, officers of the planning service and wider Council and members of the public.
