Mortgage Administrator

Job Profile:
**Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Administrator - Southampton**

**PRIMIS Mortgage Network** are seeking a Full Time **Trainee Mortgage Advisor **to join a well established partner firm (AR) of PRIMIS Mortgage Network’s Mortgage Advisory operation. The firm are a busy mortgage and protection brokerage based in Southampton SO15.

The role would initially be working as an administrator with the firm but will progress to a Mortgage Advisory role after a period of time - To be discussed and agreed with the business owner.

We are ideally looking for a minimum 2 years administration experience in Financial Services ideally although we will also consider applicants with Admin experience within financial services / Estate Agency but not necessarily in mortgage broking.

Competitive starting base salary of between **£22,500 - £25,000 DOE and is negotiable dependent on experience.**

**This role is office based in Southampton.**

**CeMAP 123 is not a requirement of this role initially.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular liaison with lenders and providers to obtain updates on applicant status

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- A minimum (ideally) of 2 years administration experience in a related industry.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly & efficiently.
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
- Demonstrate a confident telephone manner & excellent customer service.
- A team player with ability to use own initiative.
