Torchlight Recruitment Solutions are supporting a leading environmental consultancy firm specialising in asbestos management and compliance services. Committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team based in Bristol.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct asbestos surveys in various types of premises, including commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
- Perform detailed inspections, sampling, and analysis of materials suspected to contain asbestos.
- Utilize your P402 qualification to accurately assess and report on asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in accordance with HSE guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive survey reports, detailing the location, type, and condition of identified ACMs.
- Collaborate with clients to develop asbestos management plans and provide expert advice on remediation and abatement strategies.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practices related to asbestos management.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all survey activities are carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

**Qualifications**:

- P402 qualification in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor in a consultancy or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, including the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel within Bristol and surrounding areas.
