Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a deputy leader. As a deputy leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the leadership team and ensuring the smooth operation of our pre school facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for early childhood education and strong leadership skills.

**Duties**:

- Assist the leadership team in managing daily operations of the pre school facility
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff members
- Support the implementation of educational programs and activities
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and inventory management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- QCF Level 5 Management, learning and development or relevant occupational qualification
- Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations
- must be willing to be background checked through Access NI and pay any fees due for the process

This is a permanent position beginning as soon as vetting is cleared.

This post is for 25 hours per week and is term time only.
