Camo Technical Services Officer

This position is for a Technical Services Officer role in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). The role is to support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager in the airworthiness management of 42 aircraft across three aircraft fleets. The responsibilities include management of Technical Queries, Continuing Airworthiness Advice Notifications, updating of the Aircraft Maintenance Programmes, assistance to promptly and effectively resolve any actions from either audits or CI initiatives and organisation of airworthiness meetings.
**Essential Experience**
- Recent experience working in a civilian Continuing Airworthiness environment.
- Experience working within a CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B40 environment would be advantageous.
- Five years relevant aviation experience of which at least the last two years shall have been in an appropriate position within Continuing Airworthiness.
- Qualified to as a minimum to HNC level in an aeronautical discipline.
- Alternative to the above qualifications may be replaced by 5 years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness.
- Experience working with Regulatory bodies - UK CAA.
- Experience of Maintenance Control Systems (RUSADA or similar).
- Experience of Civilian Safety Management Systems, including but not limited to; mandatory and voluntary reporting, safety data analysis and safety investigations.

- Ability to write work orders in compliance with applicable ICA
**Essential Non-Technical Competencies**
- Ability to use information systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent communication and literacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and promote strong relationships with key varied stakeholder groups
- Understanding of professional integrity, behaviour, and attitude toward safety
- Understanding of his/her own human performance limitations
- Ability to consider human performance and limitations
- Excellent team player able to build and maintain strong relationships across the Company

**Desirable Experience**
- Current or recent experience working within a UK CAA Part CAMO / Part M approved organisation.
**Essential Qualifications**
- Qualified to as a minimum to HNC level in an aeronautical discipline.
- Recognised UK CAA/ EASA Part M / Part CAMO training (or demonstrable experience equivalent)
- Recognised Human Factors training
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Previous UK CAA / EASA Form 4 for conducting Airworthiness Reviews.
- Recognised training on a Complex Motor-powered aircraft.
- Recognised Occurrence Review Group training
- Recognised SMS training
- Recognised Part CAMO training
**Core Responsibilities and Duties/Skills**
**General**
- Support to the CAMO Support Engineers regarding management of Technical Query Reports to OEM’s.
- Support to the CAMO Support Engineers regarding management of Continuing Airworthiness Advice Notifications (CAAN’s).
- Support to the CAMO Support Engineers to effectively monitor and assess Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives of potential relevance to the three aircraft types under CAMO management.
- Coordination of Aircraft Maintenance Programme Reviews (AMPR) in accordance with Affinity Part-CAMO CAME and supporting procedures.
- Post approval of the AMP, responsible for expedient update of the AMP on the Affinity Maintenance Control System.
- Participating in reporting and compliance processes relating to airworthiness.
- Management of CAMO compliance and CI actions to ensure expedient and acceptable closure.
- Accomplishing any other duties as may be reasonably directed or delegated by the Head of Airworthiness.

- Specific responsibilities of a CAMO Technical Services Officer in relation to AFS Part CAMO approvals as detailed in the CAME.
