**Role’s purpose**:
To provide a pro-active level of service to all customer groups and the salesforce to ensure service levels are maintained at high standards and in line with pre-set targets.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- To process customer orders to the highest operational standards and within agreed parameters
- To manage the day-to-day operational interface with logistics providers and through liaison with sales and marketing, ensure efficient and effective communication of logistics issues to the customer
- To manage the claims and credits process
- The preparation, collation and issue of market and customer specific price lists and trading terms
- To support business functions to develop and implement digital initiatives to enhance customer experience
- To liaise with relevant departments to effect continued improvement of customer service
- To provide support to sales and marketing team by attending trade shows, seminars, customer training events etc
- To administer, liaise and report with relevant departments for all client services matters
- General administration and reporting of sales support functionality as agreed with line manger
- To review operational procedures and recommend methods change to drive efficiency

- Excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail

**Required Qualifications/Certificates/Experience**:

- ‘A’ level or equivalent including Maths and English
- Knowledge of Sales systems / CRM / Digital & E-Commerce desirable
- Working within a customer driven environment
- Understanding of stock control and logistics desirable
