Demand Planning Capability Lead

London, United Kingdom Upfield Full time

**Do you believe in plant-based future? Always wanted to be a part of Transformation?**
**Are you interested in taking a lead in building the best planning team, acting as a pivotal link between all local (in market) demand planners, running improvements and optimizations in the system and process areas?**

Location: London, UK

Hybrid work

**About the position**

On the one hand you will be an expert in planning (tools) and you will be able to drive optimizations, but on the other hand you will be able to connect to the demand planners (day to day planning struggles) and create a real Demand Planning community where knowledge sharing is being stimulated.

You will be a driving force in constant finding, improving, and letting the systems do the base process work, unleashing time to the planners to focus on the S&OP cycle and exceptions management.
If you are ready to implement all your knowledge and actively contribute to the growth of the business, this is the place to be.

On daily basis you will be working with stakeholders across the European/global business to ensure best practice of the S&OP processes, with focus on FA & Bias M-3 & M-6.
Standardizing and rolling out best practices, you will support the local planning community in getting the most out of our systems, freeing up time for local demand planners to focus on assumptions/insights, exception management and S&OP.

You will be responsible for managing "brilliant at the basics", ensuring each planning member is the best that they could possibly be by sticking to the plan.
You will help to build knowledge in the DP community, via trainings and stimulating knowledge sharing between them. Make sure this knowledge is maintained, documented, and updated when needed.
Working hand in hand with our IT support teams, you'll define and land new tools and processes supporting intelligence aligned with business needs.

Primary responsibility is the European market, but you will also support the S&OP manager in Global projects related to demand planning.

You will report to the S&OP manager and have a direct report yourself.

**So, what does it take to be successful in this role?**

After several years in demand, you're considering yourself SAP (IBP) planning tools key user and have exceptional S&OP / Integrated Business Planning knowledge.

With great stakeholders' management skills, you enjoy being the brains behind the operations and understanding wide supply chain functions you're capable of translating business needs into usable solutions.

You have a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You are results driven with a high sense of accountability: you need to be able to take initiative to identify risks/start projects.

Clear and structured communication skills, not afraid to influence and communicate at all levels.

Ideally, you already took part in ERP full cycle implementation and/or transformation projects, and now once again you're ready for action and bringing your expertise to life.

Fluent English is required.
