**The Role**

We are looking for a knowledgeable Demand Planning Administrator with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to support the management of inventory levels across the Healthxchange estate. You will support the Demand Planning Manager in stock levels and suggest demand plans based on current stock, customer lead times, rates of sale, and promotional and marketing activity. This role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, coordinating closely with the Supply Chain Operations Team and the Sourcing & Procurement Team to align demand forecasting with supply capabilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Demand Planning Manager to develop and maintain demand forecasts by analysing historical data, market trends and customer insights.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather relevant information and incorporate it into the demand planning process.
- Attend and participate in regular demand planning meetings to review forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain Teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimising stockouts or excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyse key demand planning metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes and tools, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential supply-demand imbalances or constraints, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the Operations to align demand planning strategies with overall supply chain goals and initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for decision-making in supply chain planning, procurement, and inventory management.
- Support and participate the Group in planning across Operations, Marketing and Commercial to ensure product and financial targets are achieved, continuously.

**About you**
- Experience in demand planning or inventory management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. This should include hands-on experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and overseeing product availability.
- Proven experience generating, analysing, and presenting clear and comprehensive inventory reports. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data in simple, actionable terms to stakeholders across departments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid track record of utilising data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Experience in supporting demand planning strategies aligning with business goals and the wider supply chain.
- Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other inventory management software, as well as strong Excel skills.
