2 positions available:

- Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Part time, 3 days per week - Wednesday - Friday

OR
- Member of Support Staff with an approved Level 6 qualification recognised by the DfE to work in an early years setting
- Part time, 27 hours per week over 4 days - Tuesday - Friday
- Term time only plus one week
- Early Years Professional Status, Early Years Teacher status or another approved Level 6 qualification recognised by the DfE to work in an early years setting
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy and a genuine love for working with children
- First Aid certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g. Safeguarding)

**Duties**:

- Responsible for the daily running of the Nursery, including the care and wellbeing of the children and the delivery of an effective curriculum
- Supervising and supporting the daily set up of the rooms and outside, to provide safety, and an effective learning environment for all the children
- To work with the Early Years Lead to ensure that staff ratios are maintained and there is effective staff deployment
- Provide high quality care and education to children aged 3-4 years
- Plan and implement EYFS appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Observe and assess children’s development, identifying any areas of concern
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children’s individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
- Ensuring the Nursery is clean, organised and well maintained at all times
- Following health and safety guidance to ensure the well-being of all children
