A Special Educational Needs school are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with learners who have SEN and can sometimes display challenging behaviours.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will ideally have:
- A good standard of education and can identify areas for academic improvement with the learners that you support.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is not required but a desire to build your career in this sector would be advantageous.
- Focus on helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their best results.
- You must be committed, adaptable and an excellent team player.
- A calm and patient manner, show empathy and be non-judgemental.
