To assist in validating the achieved admitted and non-admitted data on a weekly basis as required to ensure the accuracy of the RTT outcome codes and data completeness for the 18 week mandatory returns. To ensure recorded clock starts/stops are valid and in compliance with 18 week clock rules. To work both in the N&N and in the Health Records library as required to access notes and ensure timely and accurate validation. To contribute to the development of information and support networks to promote Best Practice across the organisation.

To participate in the induction of new staff and to participate in educating others about the role of 18 weeks and RTT outcome codes as required. To ensure effective liaison between all members of the Trust in relation to 18 week pathways and processes as required. To ensure accurate data collection to ensure timely management of patients along the 18 week pathway and in order to identify delays in the systems and departmental processes.
