Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

There is an exciting opportunity for an 8a Clinical psychologist to join Hull CAMHS LAC. You will be a part of the LAC Service within Hull CAMHS which is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Art Therapy, Play Therapy and Systemic Therapy and will be joining a service comprising of 30 Child Clinical and Assistant Psychologists working across Hull & East Riding CAMHS. There will be access to regular supervision and support from an experienced Clinical Psychologist working within the LAC CAMHS Team.
**Duties will include**: regular consultation to the residential staff teams looking after CYP; Undertaking and delivering therapeutic interventions to the YP as required/needed; offering bespoke training to the residential staff team to support understanding and managing the CYP, and attendance at multi agency meeting such as CLA reviews, core group meetings and meetings with education.
There will be an opportunity to work as part of an innovative Hull City Council ‘Edge of Care’ project which involves the identification of children who are considered to be on the verge of being taken into the care system (or, in some cases, who are already in care but where there is considered to be the potential for the child to return home).
