**OVERVIEW**
We’re looking for a **Lead Learning Designer **to create learner-centric, engaging, meaningful, and impactful learning content and experience for our Skillset & Mindset products. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning, and helping learners to succeed in transforming their careers through the development of professional data skills.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
- Liaise with key stakeholders to identify learning needs, align them to effective content objectives and impactful learning outcomes
- Collaborate with Developers, Graphic Designers, Learning Technologist to scope and create a suitable learning solution
- Think, write and visualise (**script and storyboard**) learning content /materials for blended learning journeys. The learning content could include eLearning modules, videos, animations, podcasts, downloadable resources.
- Use learning technologies tools and platforms to support and facilitate learning
- Mentor other members of the learning design team, sharing best practices and providing feedback.
- Plan and manage the design and development of the learning content and solutions.
- Ensure learning content is produced on time, to a consistently high quality and within budget.
**WHO ARE YOU?**
- You have a passion for learning technologies and learning behaviours
- You have experience in learning design, scripting and storyboarding for various learning modalities
- You have experience of leading projects, working as a learning designer and have experience in mentoring and coaching other learning designers and creatives in the team
- You have proven and demonstrable track record designing and developing successful learning solutions
- You are familiar with the authoring tools, online platforms, online collaboration tools, etc
- You are a strong communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate others, through mentoring and coaching

**THE TEAM**
The LXD (Learning Experience Design) team sits within the Product team. You will be reporting to the Learning Experience Director and working alongside Product Developers and tutors.
**DAY TO DAY**
Our office is based in London and we have taken a hybrid approach to working. Going into the office is currently optional unless a team working day or specific need to come in has been arranged. For example, you may be asked to come to the office for an Educator training day, a team breakfast, a company workshop etc. Our aim is to create the ideal working pattern for our employees while taking into context the needs of certain teams to spend time together on an occasional basis.
Our working hours are from 9am to 5pm, however, you will be in control and responsible for your time. You plan your working day around the best outcomes for success, identifying and prioritising projects against business needs.
**APART FROM THE ABOVE, WORKING AT DECODED MEANS YOU'LL GET**:
- 33 days leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) and extra tenured holiday enabling team members to gain an additional day for every year you are with us (after the first 2 years) up to a maximum of 8.
- We also close the office for 2 full weeks at Christmas at Decoded's discretion which does not come out of your holiday allowance.

**Interview process**:
- Recruiter Chat: You’ll speak to our people team and be asked a series of questions about your experience while learning about the role and Decoded.
- First interview with our LX Director.
- Final stage interview with our LX Director, Global Head of Product, Skillset or Mindset Director. This will include presenting a learning design exercise which you will have 5 days to prepare for.
