About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Training Lead to join our team at Pinterest. As a Sales Training Lead, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale learning programs for our global sales workforce, as well as facilitating trainings locally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences for our sales team, including live, e-learning, and asynchronous programs.
- Partner with subject matter experts to create effective learning strategies and tactics that achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead the learning design process, from identifying needs to defining objectives, designing the experience, developing content, and documenting results.
- Support the development of learning programs by providing insight and feedback on best instructional practices.
- Define and report metrics that assess learning effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other Training & Learning professionals to ensure learning experiences are fun, engaging, and help sales teams adopt new skills and abilities.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in sales training and development.
- Extensive experience designing and developing learning experiences for sales teams, particularly on performance advertising topics.
- Proficient in using a variety of learning, authoring, and collaboration tools to develop content.
- Evidence-based understanding of adult learning theory and its application in a work environment.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and build programs alongside key stakeholders.
- Open collaborative style, with the ability to work in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strategic ability to understand Pinterest's priorities and how learning and development can address skill and knowledge gaps in the workforce.
- Creativity in designing new and fresh ways to develop learning and development programs in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience working in tech, media, e-commerce, or advertising is preferred.
