We are looking for Individuals who are interested in working with kids in an active and fun environment at our breakfast club in Cambridge.

The role is maternity cover until September 2023 with the possibility of extension and staying as a permanent staff member.

**Location: The Nest, St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School, Arbury road - CB4 2JX**

We are looking for an active, hard-working and passionate play worker who are willing to work within the club where play is the core of what we do.

This is a great opportunity for students studying at college/university within the Cambridge area to gain some valuable experience.

You would work alongside the club staff in running the day to day activities for children ages 3-11.

Fun, friendly and patient are all highly valued qualities you will need.

You would be using your initiative to deliver quality play sessions with the children.

Must have some understanding of playwork, child protection and safeguarding or willing to undertake training on this.

This role would entail a choice working hours of
- Breakfast club 7:30 - 9:00 am during term time
- (Bank staff for Afterschool club 3:00 - 6:00 pm during term time)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

**Paediatric first aid is an advantage.**
