Planning/ Logistics Coordinator - Vehicle Fleet
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Planning / Logistics Coordinator, for an exciting new opportunity based in the Crewe area of Cheshire.
The Planning / logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that test fleet vehicles, resources and vehicle parts are ordered, despatched and received at various testing locations in both the UK and worldwide, including the preparation of parts for distribution, taking delivery of new parts received and the maintenance of the internal parts store.
The Planning / logistics coordinator will also be responsible for the management of new vehicle and fleet registrations on the OEM and DVLA systems along with the assigning of vehicle Test Criteria and the reporting of weekly testing data and mileage to the fleet engineering team via the internal computer systems.
You should possess good numerical skills, good problem-solving skills, excellent self-management and coordination skills, good communication skills both written and verbal, good data analysis skills and proven PC skills MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Applications for this Logistics and Planning Coordinator role are welcomed from experienced individuals who can demonstrate a previous proven ability and experience in a similar role within a Logistics and Planning environment.
This role will be on a contract basis, with an initial duration of 12 months.
Based in the Crewe area, this role is commutable from Winsford, Nantwich, Northwich, Chester, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Congleton, Knutsford, Warrington, Macclesfield and Stoke on Trent, amongst many other areas of Cheshire and Staffordshire regions.
We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chain, and this is an excellent opportunity to join our team.
