**Your Shift Pattern**
- Monday - Friday
- 0700-1700 flexible with operational demand

**Your Salary**:

- Between £30,000 -£32,000 per annum dependant on experience.

**Your job**:
To ensure that all activities undertaken in the external areas of Brit European’s Vita Nova Centre at Middlewich are conducted safely, legally, efficiently and profitably.

To oversee appropriate site husbandry to ensure that the condition of all site infrastructure remains in good order and commensurate with the Brit European brand image.

To be the person with immediate responsibility for the maintenance of security during day-to-day activities, including, but not restricted to, control of entry to the site and the security of any contents contained therein.

***Your job**:

- Ensuring that all drivers, staff and visitors are fully briefed on all site rules before the commencement of any work in any of the external areas.
- Ensuring that all vehicle movements on site are conducted via the appropriate route and within the prescribed speed limit
- Ensuring that all vehicles and products parked on site are positioned within the appropriate prescribed area and locked.
- Maintaining suitable and secure key storage of all vehicles or products parked on site, ensuring complete segregation of both at all times.
- Scanning all products parked on site onto the digital stock control system.
- Regular inspections of all parked products stored on site for damage or shortages.
- Safe use of the mobile loading ramp to load transhipped machines into covered trailers for export.
- Assisting Brit European drivers with loading/unloading to ensure satisfactory vehicle turnaround times.
- Ensuring that all loading/unloading activity conducted on-site is in accordance with any applicable statutory requirements, Brit European safe systems of work and best practice.
- Overseeing replenishment of the CNG gas trailer used for powering the EV charging points.
- Implementation of effective risk management protocols across the site. Continual dynamic assessment for risk reduction opportunities in all activities conducted on site. Effective immediate actions in the event of any accident, incident or near-miss. Completion of post-incident reporting procedures.
- Liaison with the Fleet Engineer to ensure suitable parking of vehicles awaiting maintenance and any VOR hardware.
- Assisting the Fleet Engineer with any extraordinary requirements to convey vehicles or trailers for servicing or testing.
- Management of all weighbridge operations, including administration of public users.

**What we need from you**:

- Applicants must have a full C + E entitlement, in-date DCPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Ability to endure physically demanding work & work outside in all weather conditions and work at height.
- Previous management, supervisory or leadership experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Structured, organised and self-motivated.
- Sound decision-making skills.
- Competent time management skills.
- Basic level of commercial acumen.
