**About the role and the team**

As Support Worker, your will focus on providing quality support to clients as well as undertaking a range of support, housing management and administration duties.

You will also manage a caseload of young people, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs; supporting them to progress towards independence.

Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours a week), permanent role with a 7-day rolling rota (between 8am-8pm) including weekends and bank holidays.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of working in a residential housing project for young people experiencing homelessness
- Experience of involving clients in the way services are designed to meet their needs
- Knowledge / understanding of the principle causes and effects of youth homelessness.
- Knowledge of the support needs of young people and how they might be best met including what statutory and voluntary resources are available.
