We’re delighted to be recruiting a skilled HR professional on behalf of an innovative manufacturing company based in Market Harborough. Reporting to the MD, the HR Manager will provide a standalone, end to end HR service for the business.

**As HR Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities**:

- Hands on involvement in all recruitment, actively planning the best approach to attract talent
- Coaching, challenging and advising the management team to ensure business objectives are met
- Taking an active lead in developing and refining existing policies
- Developing plans that help to develop and engage employees
- Managing all employee relations, offering guidance on a range of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Ensuring all legal guidelines are adhered to throughout all documents and discussions.
- Supporting the entire employee lifecycle including on-boarding and exit processes

**We’re looking for a HR Manager with the following skills and experience**:

- Extensive experience in an HR role within manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
- Sound knowledge of current statutory regulations within HR
- Being aware of trends and issues in the external environment that affect employees
- Excellent communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, with a helpful and positive approach
- Level 5 CIPD Qualified (or equivalent)
- IT proficient, with the ability to use MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level or above.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, professional SLT.

**Hours of work**:

- 39 hours per week, 8.30am -5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4.00pm Friday

**Salary and benefits**:

- £45,000 - £47,000
