**Job Title**:Internal Communications Executive/Advisor

**Location**:Glasgow

**Our Client**:An integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. Over 1,000 staff working across 8 regional centres, primarily supporting 6 long term water sector frameworks. In Scotland they are part of a JV calledESD which delivers Scottish Water's Non-Infrastructure programme.

**The Role**:Managing internal and external communications, deliver key messages to staff and stakeholders in a complex, dynamic, communication environment, working directly with the COO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

**Responsibilities**:Develop and implement internal communications strategies and plans that engage, align, and inspire staff with the company's vision and business strategy, and drive understanding and engagement on company priorities andkey initiatives. Key role in embedding the cultural transformation strategy

Support external communications relevant to Scottish Water and the communities it serves, as well as parent companies and extended supply chain. Generate general visibility, PR, social media and media outreach strategies as required

Duties: Work with COO and SLT to translate corporate strategy and develop and implement innovative communications strategies and plans which develops ESD's voice, reinforces its values and helps deliver business plans.

Coordinate closely with SLT and broader organisation to ensure message alignment and integration across multiple topics and channels

Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of communications initiatives.

Increase site and office staff engagement through creation and execution of internal communication initiatives which motivate teams to deliver business results.

Support external communications and community engagement activities, including support for key campaigns and activities

Plan and manage delivery of key corporate initiatives such as events and other campaigns.

Work collaboratively with SLT and various teams to develop, maintain and ensure consistency of brand standards

Create a library of professional quality materials and content, (including project case studies, video, photography and other digital assets) for use across multiple channels. Work with internal and external teams, designers and stakeholders and supportthe management of logistics.

Measure and report to SLT and adjust communications plans and activities based on outcomes

Key Attributes: Able to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively

Take the initiative to shape communications plans and strategies to deliver on business objectives

Knowledgeable in strategic communications planning methodology

Experience of cultural transformation and employee engagement strategies and tactics

Able to translate multiple/complex messages into engaging formats

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work to tight deadlines, with strong organizational skills

Expertise in developing the storyline, writing news releases, blogs, pitches, speeches etc

Results-oriented, high attention to detail, well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Knowledgeable about social and digital media best practices

Experience: Experience within a similar role delivering internal communication strategies and using a variety of channels

Excellent written communication skills, understands what makes good content, and how to create and curate it

High level of educational achievement

Experience in managing events such as leadership conferences, public meetings and webcasts

Experience working with agencies, graphic designers and other creative support

Car owner or access to good public transport
