Job Title: Learning and Development Trainer Salary: £25K Neg DOE Location: Glasgow Shifts: Monday to Friday Position Overview: This role entails overseeing the learning and growth of site personnel through both mandatory and spontaneous training sessions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate training needs for both new hires and current staff members.
  • Design and execute training programs tailored to meet identified needs.
  • Conduct specialized training sessions focusing on job-specific skills.
  • Ensure adherence to Job Specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct refresher courses and provide updates on relevant topics.
  • Offer ad hoc training sessions as necessary.
  • Provide operational support during peak periods as part of ad hoc duties.
  • Maintain and update training matrices.
  • Coordinate training events, managing logistics and necessary equipment.
  • Generate timely reports on project progress.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for effective delegation.
  • Proficient in planning and organization, with adaptability to changing business requirements.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and adept at motivating others in high-pressure environments.
  • Competent in IT, particularly with Microsoft packages.
  • Flexibility in working hours is a must.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English at a high level.
