Marketing Coordinator

MARKETING COORDINATOR (6 to 12 Month FTC)

SUMMARY
- Are you proactive, creative and resourceful, with a desire to enter or advance a career in Marketing? Specialized UK is looking for a highly organised, energetic, Marketing Coordinator to support their exciting plans and projects._

Specialized creates some of the most impactful marketing campaigns in the industry. In this role, you’ll provide support to the UK marketing team within its range of specialities, including product launches, brand activation's and a variety of events.

You’ll play a key role in managing our fleet of media bikes and equipment, working closely with our Brand Managers to capitalise on all PR opportunities. You’ll assist with the day-to-day management of our UK ambassadors, collating and sharing content, fulfilling kit requests and reporting on activity. You’ll be a brand ambassador yourself, and support with the organisation and implementation of events, representing the brand and engaging with retailers and riders. You’ll also assist with the reporting of our marketing activities, and be a key contact for our Specialized Retail community activation's, supporting stores to deliver unrivalled experiences to riders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS
- Fleet management of marketing bikes
- Key point of contact for brand activation across our retail network
- Support Road and Mountain Brand Managers in executing Global and Local campaigns
- Supporting at events where needed
- Ownership of Marketing assets and activation's around our HQ
- Assist with administrative tasks across the Marketing team
- Ambassador liaison
- Social Media support
- Ride leading where necessary (training provided)

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience - What you will need to Win
- 1-2 years experience within marketing, events and/or project management
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of working across multi-functional teams
- Ability to plan ahead and identify opportunities in good time
- Experience with Social Media channels desirable
- An eye for good design and retail visual merchandising experience desirable
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication
- Creative problem solver
- Competent and confident cyclist (multi-discipline). Ride Leader qualification desirable but not necessary.
- Be flexible and capable of working on multiple projects at once
- Be willing to travel to events or projects across the UK
- Solid understanding of basic software (excel etc.)
- Experience of working in the cycling/outdoor industry desirable but not essential
- The ability to be a true brand ambassador and represent Specialized externally
- Working at Specialized_
- 9am to 5.30pm (Equivalent Core Office Hours)
- 37.5 hours per week
