**South Derbyshire District Council** is looking to recruit a full-time **Community Engagement Officer**. The principle aims will be to deliver Housing Services’ Customer Engagement Strategy and Action Plan, delivery of Satisfaction Surveys, Housing Regulator Work, to grow tenant engagement, participation and scrutiny and to meet monthly with the Council’s Tenant Voice Group.

We are looking for an effective communicator who is highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about working with people. A person with a professional approach who can represent this area of Housing. You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated and have the ability to produce written work to a high standard including the production of draft reports. You will pro-actively engage with internal and external partners.

The objective is: To be customer focused; to improve overall customer satisfaction with our services; to modernise the way we engage with our customers and involve customers by meeting various methods of communication so that no one is excluded. You will have the opportunity to develop new ways of working and engagement. There is a requirement to comply with Housing Regulator requirements and the opportunities this presents.
