This is a fixed term position required for 37 hours per week to cover maternity leave, however we would consider part time working.

We are currently seeking to recruit an Employee Services Assistant to join our small but busy HR team.

Working under the management of the HR Business Manager, your duties will be varied and truly generalist, including, for example, managing the administration of maternity and paternity, starters, leavers, offer letters, contracts and changes to terms and conditions.

With a keen eye for detail you will maintain the iTrent HR/Payroll databases, processing pay and pension scheme transactions and updating employee records on our EDS system.

You will also be required to provide information and advice on routine HR policy matters.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and experience.

Ideally you will be Foundation Certificate in People Practice (RQF) Level 3 qualified, but as a minimum we will require you to be experienced and well-organised administrators, qualified to NVQ level 3 (or A Level equivalent) with excellent IT skills (including proficiency in MS Word and Excel), and an interest in Human Resource administration.
