**About the Role**:
Compliance Assurance is a global team which is responsible for the monitoring of Compliance Risks and leads the Investigation Coordination Process across the Swiss Re Group. The team is the primary liaison with Group Internal Audit (GIA), Operational Risk Management (ORM) and other governance functions and assists in coordination among risk and control functions and Compliance units in relation to Compliance Assurance activities.

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated Compliance Officer Investigations to use their knowledge and skills to review and investigate allegations of breach of the Code of Conduct, including allegations received via the Global Whistleblowing Hotline. As part of the second line of defense, you will also perform assurance activities for Swiss Re, globally.

Core responsibilities:

- Leading and performing confidential end to end internal investigations of alleged misconduct in alignment with the Investigation Coordination Process including witness interviews, maintaining case files, and drafting reports of case findings etc.
- Driving the disciplinary process in alignment with case conclusions and presenting conclusions to senior management
- Acting as a liaison for the investigation team, which may include internal or external counsel, Internal Audit, HR, and Compliance
- Maintaining oversight over the whistleblowing hotline
- Leading the anti-retaliation investigation process
- Promoting an inclusive Speak Up culture
- Identifying and assessing opportunities for enhancing the investigations process by e.g. analyzing and reporting on investigation trends
- Assisting in assurance activities such as monitoring and targeted reviews of compliance risks and special projects, where appropriate
- Assisting in internal and/or external reporting such as Compliance quarterly and annual reporting etc.

**About You**:

- Demonstrated ability leading internal investigations involving compliance risks, preferably in (re)insurance industry
- Understanding of testing/ audit methodologies and techniques, risk management concepts
- Legal background a plus
- At least 5 years' experience preferred
- Self-motivated, independent, proactive, astute, highly organized, and curious
- Strong communication skills, strong analytical skills, ability to run several simultaneous tasks and work effectively with colleagues across regions and functional units
- Possesses a strong work ethic, objectivity, pragmatism, and integrity
- Detail oriented, diligent, and optimally manages time
- Flexible and adaptable to dynamic, changing work processes and environment
- University or equivalent qualification
- Project management experience is desired
- Curiosity about and experience with using data and technology to streamline tasks is desired
- Strong verbal and written skills in English.
