**Job Title**

Administrator - Banking & Payments (Jersey)

**What is the opportunity?**

The newly created Operations Department in Jersey is building out a team of professionals to perform operational activities to support the running of key functions across the organisation, whilst ensuring adherence to ongoing and upcoming regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will process wholesale trades booked by our traders ensuring timely cash settlement and confirmation matching

Ensure that the input of inward funds comply with existing Regulations and the banks cut-off times.

Support Banking + Payments team and ensure that all transactions are dealt with in accordance of our defined Service Level Agreements

**What will you do?**
- Input Inward funds and dealing with non-compliant receipts
- Input all trade tickets produced by the dealers, ensuring cash settlement and confirmation matching is performed in a timely manner.
- Input/verify system rate updates
- Support in the paying in of Cheques in all currencies, including Special Presentations, Collections and Negotiations
- Learn about and support Regulations and Market changes and be involved in system requirements, testing and implementation of projects (including ISO20022)
- Represent the Company and department in a professional manner whilst dealing with our internal clients
- Escalation of risks identified to management for review
