**Support Worker - Full Time and Part Time**

Would you like to join my team? I am a young adult man who has an acquired brain injury, and I am looking for PA’s to join my existing team to support me in my home and out in the community. Currently I have fairly high health needs and cannot mobilize without support and equipment. However, I grow stronger every day and am able to communicate my wishes.

It’s important that I have confident and competent staff who are good communicators and can use my equipment safely but also know how to have a good time. My team need to be observant and pick up on my body language and cues as well as respond if I need you. I can become frustrated so it’s important that you are listening to me and paying close attention.

I have support with all aspects of daily living which includes personal care, feeding and administering medicines as well as moving and handling support including all transfers. I have a support plan in place to help you understand me also some of my current team is made up of my family members who know me really well.

Our mum knows us really well and she along with SOLO will support our staff to get to know me and learn my personality. I really want to work with people who we all get along with and who is adaptable to our needs as a family. I would like to go out for day trips both long and short as well as be creative with music and dance in the house.

**Part Time Position: Hours to be negotiated**

**Hours**: I require flexible cover including days and nights on weekdays and weekends.

**Flexibility**: Additional hours to cover holidays and sickness as required

**Training**:An excellent training package is available to ensure you are trained to the highest standards. In addition, we offer continuous professional development. Working as part of the Solo Support Services organisation will also mean that you are part of a supportive company who promote person centred practice.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £11.53 per hour
