**Salary**: £27,384 pro rata, rising to £27,849 pro rata, rising again to £28,500 pro rata in two annual increments.

Hours per week - 30 hours

You will be expected to deal with any enquiry allocated to you in an accurate and timely manner to ensure it is properly completed for submission to a Justice Case Manager or direct to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) when appropriate.

Having worked in a Legal Environment, communication skills, both written and spoken, are an essential element of the role as you will be liaising with a variety of different contacts from police officers, Crown Prosecution Service to solicitors, and Magistrates.
You must be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team, whilst also being flexible and creative in your approach to problem solving.
Once fully trained, the post holder will be able to work remotely, mainly at Gablecross Police Station, to work within the team, and any other locations as and when required, and the option of some home working.
Post holder will be expected to deliver files, exhibits and equipment to other agencies where appropriate assist other departments in case preparation in order to meet Joint Performance Monitoring (JOIM) targets for quality and timeliness undertake new responsibilities introduced by the Criminal Justice System relevant to their role with training, you may be required to take on the role of Case Manager on occasions and be expected to attend training courses relevant to the role and those stipulated by the Force.
Wiltshire Police provides a 24 hour 7 day a week service therefore applicants should be prepared to be flexible in their approach to working hours in accordance with the Police Staff Council Handbook.
