This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to work within the Customer Services team and would suit a motivated individual who is keen to learn the tasks involved and become an integral member of the team. Here are some of the tasks that you would be asked to complete:
- To work in a team environment
- Accurately maintain records and statistical information as required
- To open, sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries and prepare outgoing mail for collection
- To undertake any clerical and administrative duties associated with the role
- To process customer payments and carry out cashier duties including record keeping for reconciliation
- To proactively obtain feedback from the public and highlight to the team leaders any potential areas for improvement
- Carry out other tasks and duties required as part of the post
The Ideal Apprentice will:
- have good communication, organisation & IT skills.
- be punctual and reliable with a positive attitude towards learning.
- have GCSE Maths & English (Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or L2 equivalent).
Whilst working at the council YOU will have access to a wide range of staff benefits such as:
- 24 days annual leave, and 9 bank holidays on top
- Free onsite Parking, access to electric car charging points, cycle bays at both sites with local train and bus routes.
