Blaby District Council’s Housing Team is a busy, high performing Housing Advice service.
We are looking for a knowledgeable individual who is passionate about helping people resolve their housing problems to join our friendly team and help us to continue delivering a first-class service to our customers.- An understanding of the Council’s choice-based lettings scheme
- Knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act and the Housing Act Part VI and part VII
- An awareness of the Councils Housing Allocations Policy
- Knowledge of private rented sector housing and legislation
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritise workloads
- Previous experience of working sensitively with customers
- The ability to work in a pressured environment
